His Grandfather
My beloved grandson, Patrick Stuart Fraser was brutally gunned down at a gathering with his friends in the late evening of May 9th 2019. The motive for the murder was theft.
Patrick was born on October 23rd 1998 and would have celebrated his twenty first birthday this October.
His funeral was held on May 17th, 2019 at St. Andrews Kirk, Georgetown, Guyana. Among the six hundred plus who attended the funeral, was his mother, who is my daughter, Daniele Frances Gonsalves; his father, Paul Stuart Fraser, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. In addition many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, lifelong friends, as well as his Aunt, Catherine Olivia Gonsalves
Patrick’s first passion was fishing. From an early age he accompanied his father on fishing expeditions into the most remote areas of Guyana in search for Arapaima, Lau Lau and of course Lukanani, also known as South American bass. His second and more recent passion was enduro off road biking with the Sonic Hunters Motor cycle Club, of which he was their youngest member. The attached photos of Patrick shows him enjoying the two activities he was most fond of.
I should add the police have apprehended the killers and passed them through the courts. I as well as Paul and his family attend all hearings. We are interested that court procedures are followed by the Hon Magistrate, the prosecutor, the defense lawyer, the police etc.
